I'd be down for something like that but it seems like this community is flooded with newbies who belong on askseddit. Not bashing they need to learn someplace but it's a bit hard to engage in a good convo when you've been at this for 5-8years and you get people who are stifled and don't realize it telling you what is and is not a good idea when you have been making it work errday for 4 years.

I agree, plus I think it would be helpful for the "always be approaching" attitude: knowing you could report back often with regular check-ins on progress.
