That song coming on? Fuck no. What the hell are you talking about, even? People come to the fucking club to dance. More than half the time, you're meeting people on the damn dance floor. So this isn't a problem. And if you're really acclimated to the fun and connecting with people, and a good song comes on, then you'll BOTH be going to the dance floor. Why are you assuming that she'd go and you'd stay there, afraid of the dance floor?

This is common sense. You don't go to a card game and sit in the corner complaining that everyone's playing cards. You don't go to a LAN party without a computer. If you did those things, you'd be the weird guy and it would be impossible to pass anyone's "filters."

Most of your whole article is pitched towards the idea that it's impossible to connect with people at clubs. When really it seems that you simply don't like dancing and you insist on going to a place that's organized around that very activity.
