I can start conversations so easily and get them going but the girls lose interest. No matter what topic I choose, no matter what I say, they lose interest.

I was just talking to a girl about hockey and she mentioned how her old bf could barely watch games together because they were rival teams and I told her I don't blame her I don't like the team either and she then started writing 2 or 3 word messages.

Her: it's hard being a Caps fan....

Me: convert over to the devils, you won't regret it

H: lol no

Me: such a shame. At least you got good book choices going for you

Her: haha thanks

I lost her attention. I don't know where to go from here. Should I just drop it?
