I recently facebook friended a lady, we said let's keep in touch. Scrolling thru her facebook later, I was struck by how my perception of her had improved from checking out her facebook-she had artsy photos, photos from her hobbies and then my thoughts turned to my lightly used page and her perception of me might have changed. I can't say it's bad per say but it is lightly used and I only use it for promotion of the shows of my performance based hobby so there's not too much upkeep in terms of the places I go, people I see, etc.

Social media is a powerful (for better or worse) representation of yourself and the way girls have to check you out when you exchange that type of contact information and while, I understand people use facebook for different things, do you think all else being equal, is it worth not having a facebook if it's jump off the page impressive?
