You sound like someone who isn't very good at dating and you are looking for something/someone to blame.

Social values change. Adapt or get left behind. You can keep tipping your fedora to mi'ladies and being pissed it doesn't work like in the "old days" OR you can grow some balls, stop being a fucking nerd and put yourself out there and ask girls out.
