In person: Depends on who you are. Some guys rock it super sarcastic. Others deadpan it and enjoy watching the gears turn. Cocky/Funny is also good.

The best is going to be whichever you're most comfortable doing. Whichever you can reach for without tryharding.

I like to smile a bit and let her know I'm having fun with it, to sort of say "You're welcome to join me in this fun and laugh with me, or you can take it seriously and get offended, at which point I'm no longer laughing at the silliness of myself and am now laughing at YOU and enjoying the hell out of how much it annoys you that I like it".

AA is basically "patronizing" someone ... there are many ways to do it but they all mean the same thing, "you're taking the piss coz you don't respect them!"
