I was at small show tonight at a popular local venue. It was my first time there and I showed up alone and I was looking to do some approaches so that I can finally end my long ass dry spell. Anyway, I talked to a bunch of girls throughout the night, nothing really direct, just sorta conversing about anything. There was this one super sexy asian girl that I talked with and at the end of the conversation I sorta felt like she wasn't into me, since the conversation didn't flow nicely. I didn't really talk to her again after that. However, she was dancing right in front of me later on in the night, and then as the concert ended she was sitting with some guy (I think a gay guy, but not sure) talking. I made eye contact with her and she made eye contact back in a "please approach me sorta way". However, I suddenly froze up and couldn't get myself to do it. What would I even say if I were to walk up to her? There was a lot more pressure too because of the type of eye contact we made. She definitely saw that I was stifled because I kinda just stood in her line of sight not doing anything. Now, of course, I regret not approaching, though luckily she goes to that venue a lot with her other hot asian friends so I see her again. What tactics do you guys use if you suddenly freeze up after being in the zone? I'm a beginner at all this, so I'm proud of what I was able to accomplish tonight, but I need to get over hesitation.
