I don't really remember where i got this from, but i think this could be relevant.

The idea is that most men in scarcity mode are making bad decisions about their relationship. They have all their eggs in one basket and are desperate to make this one relationship work, rather than coming from abundance and picking the best/healthiest woman for them.

Why would you, Max, waste even 1 more second of the only Precious thing you have, -time- on a person that has no interest in you?

There are so many girls out there. Keep in mind the sunken cost fallacy and think about what you are doing man.
