LOL, helping a girl you aren't banging move, is the classic sign of beta bullshit. If she's asking you to help her move, it isn't because she's hoping you'll get her alone and grab her tits.

It's because she's got some heavy shit that needs lifting.

Ask yourself this: If one of your guy friends asked you to help him move, would you? Would one of your guy friends even ask you to help him move?

If the answer is no to either question, you are probably viewed as a beta chump.

I recommend that when she calls you back to confirm you're going to be helping her move, you find some way to cleverly express the notion that you only help people move that you've made out with.

Say it sort of casual/jokingly as a way of being clear you don't think of yourself as a chump in this situation, so that she has to address it.

If she plays along, great-- maybe it's worthwhile. If she acts offended, or tries to shame you or some other crap, well, you know to tell her that you'll be too busy to help her move.

It may be that she makes a counter-offer, promising to take you to lunch or something, in which case, she probably doesn't want to bang, but she's at least willing to do something for you, rather than just say, 'Thanks for the help. Byyeee, you're so nice!'

Don't expect to "get some" just because you help her move. She's counting on that.

If she's into you, it won't matter if you can't help her move. So, if you want to get with her, make plans and invite her INDEPENDENT of moving.

Ex: "can't, I have plans that day/time. We should grab a drink/ do XYZ and celebrate your move afterwards, though."

If she declines the date, then you know she was just trying to use you.

Odds are good she's not interested, and just want help moving. Think back through the time you've known her. (Notice: I didn't say "friendship.")

Ask yourself, "what has she ever done for me?"

Has she cooked for you? Helped you paint your room? Anything? Friends help each other out. Are you REALLY her friend, or just somebody she knows?

Chances are, you a strong back (with a truck, probably) who she can talk into helping her for free. There's no malice in it. She's just doing the best that she can.
