I have no problem talking to a random girls and making small talk but I have no idea how to transition into asking for their numbers.

I was talking to this girl at my college and made small talk about her classes, major, what college she plans to transfer to, etc. I feel like it would be just out of the blue to tell her "wanna hang out sometime?" or "Can I have your number?" after the conversation.

How do i go about this?
