Nuke me to hell for this, but why is it not ok for men to hit women but vice versa is exponentially more permissible? Is that fair? Not really, but that's the way the world is.

Same with why studies show women like combative, strong men and when they are unsure if a man finds them attractive. Is it all rational? Not really, although we rationalize it like crazy.

1) Men and women are not equal.

We are different biologically, physiologically and psychologically. A partnership (marriage/LTR) is a transaction between a man and woman, and its not an apples for apples exchange, its an apples for oranges exchange. Wherein a woman is exchanging her sexual and reproductive access in exchange for a man's protection and resources. This has been true since we were a hunter-gather society (where emphasis was on man's physical prowess) and during civilized society (where emphasis was on man's economic prowess).

Men have appreciating value, women have depreciating value. A woman's prime is between the ages of 16-24. Every passing year after that, her beauty fades, and so too does her biological prime. Those two things are her asset in this exchange. The man's asset with every passing year appreciates, because its assumed with every passing year he gains more experience/skill and accumulates more property/resources. This is why women are usually attracted to men older than them, and why also arranged marriages usually involve a man in his 30s/older marrying a woman in her 20s/younger.

2) Her reproductive capabilities depreciate with age

Aside from her beauty and looks, her biological capability for reproduction also depreciates. Although the chances of birth defects increase for both men and women as they get older, it is much more radical for women. The chances of her giving birth to a child with autism, down syndrome or chromosomal diseases increase exponentially with every passing year. The more partners a woman has, the more partners she failed at committing with. If it was the guy's fault, then at the least she is a bad judge. From the above stats (links 1 and 2), a girl with more than one partner immediately has a higher likelihood of failing commitment. A girl with every added partner above that has a higher and higher likelihood of failing commitment. This shows that a virgin woman is the best prospect for an LTR, its not a myth!

Shit, I don't even look at the biological aspect. I look at it purely sexual.

If I do something with each woman, going forward, I expect the same or better performances from each subsequent woman. That means, I'm not going "backwards" sexually. I'm sure Chris Rock did a segment on that.
