Excel or Gmail. I'll email myself a quick email with first name, any interesting tidbits and where we met. This is a very useful technique for reinforcing those small details. Humans are not adapted for remembering every small detail. Because Gmail is searchable I can search by where I met someone, the place I met them or what we talked about. For more info, check out the book "The Organized Mind" by psychologist Daniel Levitin.
