One of the first things I learnt after being introduced to this subreddit is how important it is to act quickly prior to the girl losing interest. In hindsight this makes so much sense, however prior to learning this I meet a girl, I didn't act quick enough and I'm curious if there is anything to keep in mind while I try and recover.

Background: We were both interns each working at this company last summer, I was honestly just to busy with stuff going on outside of work so my thought was to just wait until things slowed down in my life and then ask her out. Unsurprisingly the "right time" never came and we went 4 months working together lightly flirting without me ever really asking her out. Then I went back to school and haven't seen her since.

I know that I'm going to run into her at a work related party tomorrow (I don't work there anymore so I've got nothing to lose). Do I treat this like any other interaction? I.E. flirt/escalate with her and then ask her out on a date? Or is there something else I should keep in mind?
