If you're not as good looking you need to be a lot more alpha, commanding, unapologetically cocky funny, leading, dominant without being try hard and by not taking it all too serious, take it jokingly sometimes.

You can play up the aerospace engineer a lot. Tell them to gues what you do, you can say it's technical. When they say engineer, you can say what kind of engineer, a tip, the best kind of.

Then say, aerospace with a grin as if it's the best thing in the world (it kinda is).

Did you ask for their number and then bolt? Stay in the interaction after you set something up (number/date/hangout whatever). Do you genuinely care about getting to know them?

You're not getting solid #-closes. You generally want your interactions to go in a way where you come in and declare intent (if you're not used to declaring intent, saying they're cute is fine, but I'd try to make it a push/pull). Then you're gonna want to get to know her, but within the frame that you set. That means you want her to start qualifying herself to you.

You can do this by making assumptions about her, disqualifying yourself, etc. Once you've set the frame and she's operating within (even if she rejects your frame, she's more or less operating within. Don't drop frame to bother with the challenge), go get a drink. She comes with, and then you can start going into the more boring interview shit, but try to keep it playful. Tease her, here and there, keep making her qualify, but give her a few small victories.

Figure out the logistics. Are her friends super protective? Does she stay nearby? What's she doing tomorrow? There's really no reason to go for her number if you can pull. So figure out if you can pull, logistically speaking.

If the logistics suck, seed the close by mentioning some shit you want to do with her. Don't make it too vague. You're gonna do X with her on Y day (not too far in the future). Should be a more solid close.

If the logistics worked out, you shouldn't be trying to get numbers anyway.

Same for most guys as most of us want to bang people who are extremely good looking, but so do the girls!

All you can do is hit the numbers game hard! If you approach enough you can stumble across a stunner who actually thinks you are handsome. It happened to me last year when I banged a worldie and i'm pretty ugly. She just thought I was good looking (some girls have weird taste) and was probably a bit drunk lol!
