When you're using a dating app as a man, how important is it that you have a detailed bio?

it really depends on what you're looking for. If you're seriously looking for someone compatible you're definitely going to want to some effort into making a detailed bio. Put in your interests, hobbies and a few specific interesting facts that set you apart. I would also highly recommend putting in things you like to conversation about (examples: sports, shows, music and etc.) When people see a detailed bio they get a better idea of who you are and what you both have in common. If they see something in your bio that sparks their interests they are more likely to want to talk and get to know you.

If you're bored and just looking for people to talk to the bare minimum is fine.

Women love mystery, hooking up and dating its a whole emotional experience for them. Because of that keep your bio short and sweet. The worst mistake for guy is to be a open book right from the start

Short and sweet is the key. Give just a taste with hints so they can find out more in person. Mystery is extremely sexy for a girl... they love to dig into a man's personality and his past as if they're a chick in a Western or a Zorro movie
