Solid. You can create desirability out of thin air. More guys should take advantage of that.

In a club you can go around the room and talk to a bunch of people, just say "Hey, how's it going?" talk for a few seconds then move on to the next person or just cheers everyone so that as you continue to walk around the club or people continue to walk by you, you'll get a lot of friendly glances & head nods making you look like the popular guy. Girls like the popular guy.
During the day (this needs a little more skill) you can game a girl to the point that you can get her on an instant date but instead of doing the typical instant date you confess to her that you're actually out to meet girls but you'll still buy her that coffee/ice cream/whatever instant date reason you gave in return for her just walking with you while you pick up chicks. Girls like guys that other girls hang around with.
Alternately you can just get the coffee/ice cream/whatever first then while you're there confess and ask if she'd be willing to help you out. I've done it both ways, works pretty well especially since girls that you can instant date don't really have much going on that day so it'll be pretty darn good way for her to pass the time. Make sure you keep this girl around and become a real friend to her so that you don't have to build your desirability up from scratch every time.

So on the second scenario, do girls go for that?
[–]hunterpua 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
For sure.
[–]ratherstayback 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Agreed. At first it's a bit hard, but as soon as you're genuinely conviced that you actually are desired, you do not need to fake it. And it will become sort of.. a selffulling prophecy.
The tough part is becoming genuinely convinced of that, I guess. To achieve that, you need to become more invested in yourself than in other people's perceptions of you.

There's the answer right there.
Its actually pretty easy to be invested in yourself if you actually invest in yourself. i.e. Work on yourself. The more time, money, effort, and emotion you give simply for personal gain, the more invested you will be in yourself.
Furthermore, if you just shift your daily decision making processes from doing things for the approval of other to only doing things you approve of, others be damned, you will teach yourself to derive your self esteem from yourself.

Agreed. As long you do tangible things instead of trying to think your way into it, you'll definitely be on the right path.

Intresting. So making friends directly corrolates with gaining new ones.
Ok then I should probably stop ignoring people at college ':D (I have friends but some people try to talk to me and I just shut down idk why haha )

Your comment struck me, because 3 years ago I was in the same boat. I was going to college in a city where I knew no one else, and I was basically mute. There were so many girls who would have fucked my brains out, but I was in my own lonely, anxiety-ridden world.
Snap out of it right now. What's holding you back?
[–]LemonsRage 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I am holding mxself back right now. I have terrible back acne and am currently in therapy for that and also I want get a little more muscle. I feel like that I don't want to bother girls because they might find it disgusting :/

I feel your pain about the acne. I suffer from a skin disease called Hidradenitis Suppurtiva and it affected my mental state as well. I would get these painful boils and ingrown hairs on my thighs, buttocks and armpits. I was ashamed for years, and it held me back. But the thing is, if you've gotten the girl to the point where you are unclothing yourself, she wont turn away because you have acne. She's already comfortable around you.
My HS symptoms basically disappeared when I got to a healthy weight and ate a healthy diet. If I were you, I would try to fight the acne with an elimination diet. Maybe a certain food you eat often is a trigger for your acne.

Hm ok thanks thats intresting. For me it's not about getting turned away because of acne but more of my self. I want to be completly comfortable with how I look. essentially I would really love to have such good skin and body that I could just for example undress my upperbody in public and it would just be weird but not "disgusting" for others and myself too. if you understand that 😅

Can't say I disagree.
