This may seem off topic but I'll bring it back around:

Its interesting how people hold an instant date at high regard. In my opinion you should only go for a lot of instant dates at a late intermediate or advanced stage in your game, when your warm up is you getting girls' numbers or making out with girls. Before that point you should just focus on opening and number closing. Why? So that you can get more numbers. If you instant date and same day lay a girl as a beginner, sure its an awesome story to tell but you only get one girl. You'd have to go out again to get more girls. No wonder the threat of one-itis is so imminent when you don't have much experience.

Whenever I'm teaching a guy that's an absolute beginner and he gets his first number close I always say, "You know what the main thing to worry about now is?" the student always says something related to the girl like, "Text game?" or "Getting her on a date?" I say, "No. Now that you got your first number the main thing to worry about is getting your next number."

And when you get your first date the main thing to worry about is getting the next girl on a date.

When you have little experience, the longer you focus on just one girl, the more likely you are to catch one-itis. The "abundance mindset" is just mental masturbation. You should focus on getting real abundance. One way to do that is to get tons of numbers, that is the best way to avoid getting one-itis for some random girl.
