Imagine if you were just walking down the street, glanced at a girl walking your way, and she was initiating eye contact with you. Then you both hold eye contact and keep walking towards each other, but she doesn't smile, doesn't look away, just keeps holding it until she walks by.

This seems to happen to me like once a week and I can't figure it out. I just recently started learning about game and realize I should probably approach and assume the best, but the vibe feels weird. I've tried smiling or winking or just staring back, but they rarely do more than just keep looking. Sometimes it will be for like ten, twelve seconds, one girl walked into a store while I passed and turned her head around to keep looking.

Its to long and obvious to be by accident, girls eye contact ability never ceases to amaze me, but the complete lack of smile or other acknowledgment is confusing as hell. any ideas?
