Honestly best thing for you is to write her and be honest. Tell her you really wanted to kiss her or make out but you were too nervous. Maybe she will find it cute or had a similar feeling. It's not the end of the world but if you gave any fucks you'd be doing this with her and not randoms on the internet.

i always kiss on the first date. All you have to do is read if she is down for it or not.

Female here. Don’t kiss on first date. I think the first kiss will happen naturally and at the right time. Don’t even worry about it. I hated when I kissed or was kissed on the first date. So much better when I waited or we had feelings for each other and then kissed. Way better than just kissing to kiss ya know? Love makes everything magical.
