Either accept her friendship or don’t be her friend. If you’re her friend in hopes of changing her mind then you’re gonna have a bad time. Some girls do prefer to date guys who they’ve been friends with for a very long time but its too much of a longshot to bank on it happening.

Treat her as a friend but stay close to her but don’t expect much from it. She flat out friend zoned you, meaning she doesn’t like you. Accept it and move on, there’s plenty other girls out there 10x better than she is. It hurts but that’s just life.

I’m afraid, there’s no short-term solution, but like an earlier comment said, use her as your wing, first of all, if she asked to be your friend, she should expect treatment as a friend, therefore talk to her like you talk to your homies, forget she has a vagina, and ask her to help you out picking up other girls. In the long-term, either she’ll wish her tongue was burnt the time she friendzoned you, or you’ll be way past her as anything but a friend to you. Oh and from now on, don’t compliment her, keep your dialogues full of banter instead.
