Meh. I'm not sure dates (like coffee or dinner) is the way to go in college. Go to a party together or just get drunk together in the dorms. Or maybe be super casual about it, like "Hey, this band is playing, wanna check it out". Dinner dates can feel super awkward and pressured for people who haven't done much dating.

(Full disclosure: I'm old and mostly do dinner dates now, but we can drink at dinner and everyone is just used to then)
