Ok, so a challenge I’m having lately: I’ve been attending more parties / clubs than I typically do, working on being more social. Typically my excuse has been being in school, I focus highly on academics (and I do very well academically) and didn’t have time or energy.

But my goal this semester has been to be more social mid-semester. Growing up I was quite introverted, and in the past years have made big strides in becoming more comfortable talking to people.

But I still notice at large parties (particularly when I know few people well) I tend to lose my energy and become tired very quickly. I start to develop a headache and don’t have it in me to push a conversation forward, or even carry one with someone who starts one with me.

Went to a club tonight, my two friends seemed they could go for hours, I had to leave at 1a after being there 3 hours because I drained so quickly. My friend pointed out that this also happened last time we went out, and thinks it’s a mental mindset (may be true).

I am quite busy with school mon-fri, work sat/sun, but I exercise regularly and eat healthy. Higher energy than most friends, just seems lower socially.

Would appreciate any tips here. Maybe I just need to keep practicing, & will become easier? Want that energy high to meet all the lovely ladies :)
