Overdue FR was few days ago thought it was effective I want to jot this down

I been doing evening pickup this few days cause it's fit into my schedule, going to nearby mall around 630-7pm before heading to dance practice. Naturally I'm a introverted guy and often I'm not in high energy state, so this one girl walk past I do my typical opener, slowly raising my hand like a casual stop sign getting the girl attention, usually it either work well or doesn't. This girl look up and I immediately go "I just...want to say something real quick, you speak english?". I have this fun smirky grin going on while I try to slow down when talking, I want to avoid being fast paced. Girl look at me and smile "yea?" I teased "Is your english good?" I paused she giggled "yea?" , "so you Speak good English?"," not really but I understand" ." Okay, well I just want to say...*pause* ...that you have this adorable looking shoe, and you walking by like you just...out from a movie..i have to say Hi"

I realize it doesn't matter how clever the line is, I tried to be more slow and clear in what I'm trying to say is way more important. Typical what I always did, but this part is where I find interesting. Usually I will number close as I have somewhere else to be, but I babystep leading her. I step few step back " Can you come over I can't hear you well near the street" some more talk later "Hey how bout this follow me over there, there's something I wanna show you" *she resisted a bit* "just one minute I gotta go soon " "ok". I lead her near to a christmas tree decoration "I walked past this just now and i just felt urged to ...well bring you here, doesn't it feel romantic?" She laughed" No", "you broke my heart xxx" I said it playfully. >>some more talk >> "Hey I really wanna get to know you more I'm going that way follow me for a while you can get to your friend later " We walked as I further talked. Then I turned to her " You know what I felt you're interesting girl I wanna get to know you, you did mention you're free tomorrow right?How bout we get a drink, same spot " "uhhhh.." "Come on, you won't met another interesting guy like me ever again" (not the best way to close set from begging , but I prefer see it as playful begging, but hey I'm in a rush) She said "We'll talk thru text, you have my number". I end with one last sentence , "Well I'm a busy guy, so let's confirm it now, 7pm tomorrow, same place, alright?" Gave her a playful smile which she agreed and i gave her a quick hug and went off. Met her few days ago and got on 2nd date and we had a good time.

Takeaway from this, leading works wonder, it kinda solidy she been with you longer, avoid talking at one spot, even if it means you're not convenient for instant-date, just move her somewhere, example "come over here it's more quiet" , " hey I think the scenery here is better come" any reason you can come up with, and persistence on closing, usually I go with "We will meet sometime , I will text you" but ever since I pressed for confirmation from girl with reason like "I'm kinda busy, let's just work with 4pm since both of us is free, yea?Okay sure" my flaking number reduce substantially ,so say it like you own it, like you're entitled because you are a busy man, and you ain't got no time for flaky number or flaky girl. So overall , hook>lead>persistence>meet girl on next following days.
