When you are learning handstand , its scary cuz your mind automatically screams, oh fuck what if this dumbfuck fell, what if he trip and hit his head. I always tell myself before you learn a move you must first endure the pain. Sounds cheezy but my concept is a bit different. I purposely put myself in pain. When I started learning handstand I don't emphasis to stabilize but to rather let my body experience how it felt when it hits the ground, and well, it hurts .
Few day by later my body start to cope with the pain. Then it doesn't felt that scary anymore. I move on to learn my second goal. How to roll over if I fell, or rather how to slow down my body and ground impact time in case I fell again. Which I did. I push my leg of ground in midair , I was still learning so my body balance is definitely off , intuitively however this time. My hand palm shift slighly when I'm falling from midair, leg was somehow able to twist in a natural position. I was able to stop the fell from hurting as much as before. I was rolling over, in case you don't know, is better than hitting your shoulder or knee straight to the ground.
Days gone by, I became more confident in practicing my handstand , cuz I know if I fell my body knows how to adjust itself from hitting the ground.I became more fearless with each jump. Before I know it. I was able to balance myself , and even know how to do a handstand walk. All within 3 weeks, its a slow process but I'm proud of it
Same goes for picking up woman, when you're first started, your mind goes "WTF its a girl, wait how does one go talking to random girl on street ,what if she reject this lil shit, WAIT how does rejection feels like? shit better send irrational fear so this shit don't hurt himself." people sometime emphasis too much on success with woman, they forgot the babystep to improving oneself is maybe starting with experiencing the rejection. When your first getting rejected it hurt. But after a while you told yourself"hey its not that bad" days gone by weeks gone by. Soon you slowly adapt to handle rejection gracefully, unconsciously.
Example, I approach a cute girl in the library, I hit it off well she smiled , but some rapport later you found out shes in a relationship , old me would awkwardly exit the scene. now I'm more like " let me know when you're single" *playfully ofcourse". In experiencing enough rejection I am more able to tuRN almost seemingly awkward situation into something fun, for me. Might seem pointless like "but OP , I'm not trying to fail I'm trying to get some pussy." But the moment I know that in case rejection happen I still can get fun out of it, suddenly it doesn't felt that taxing. You would go approach fearlessly. Its been a year of me practicing pickup , seduction. So far I had gotten a few dates , some dates went kinkily fun some not so much. All in all I would had never dream knowing girls are attracted to me years ago. Might seem like a slow progress, but its my journey and I'm proud of it
So learning to fail gracefully before emphasis on improving k close or f close for newbie could be some of the easy lifehack in getting used to the game.
