Many of you will be like "hell no,I ain't gay" but hear me out. Im bisexual but hetero romantic but here's my point: you'll "play the other side".

What does it feel like to be on the receiving end of seduction? By broadening your searches to include both sexes you'll be hit on by more men and (if you're male) you get a first hand look at others game. This is an amazing opportunity for learning.

Secondly, others are complimenting and flirting with you and that feels good coming from anybody as long as your homophobia is manageable (and it has to be).

Personally, I got out of a terrible relationship with my (female bodied) ex and found that having other people who are attracted to me and express it so improved the fallout from my breakup. Lots of people on this sub have complained they can't get laid or etc. Maybe try seeing what the same sex has to offer?
