YES! There are rarely any fun events to go to like other cities, compared to NY, Los Angeles or Miami, very dead. Me and my friends talk about it all the time, we live in a huge city, yet very little to do. We joke that it's becoming like Detroit lol. The nightlife here is also bad, my favorite spots to go to, have all closed down or in the process of being shut down. The quality of life is not so good here anymore.
I don't have a solution 😒

Quit porn and masturbate less frequently, and give it time... like several months, not just a week. If that doesn't work even after you stick to it, I would look for psychotherapy / psychiatry, maybe you have clinical depression and don't realize it. Also try not to think of it as work and not think about having an end goal of sex, but just something to do for entertainment. Most likely though, the porn addiction is the primary reason.
I do realize I have clinical depression and anxiety..I was taking CBD for it, it was helping me, but too expensive. Again, therapy is also expensive. Depression is life circumstantial.

Where do you live? Is there any way you can get cheap/free aid of some sort if you get creative? Is there anything else you can temporarily cut from your budget to put towards that? If you know you have it, between that and porn addition that's plenty enough to completely kill your motivation... and trust me I've had all of the same issues myself too, still not 100% but a lot better. I'd say just try to prioritize working on your depression/anxiety first, then quitting porn once you've made reasonable progress to where you can enjoy your time going out (so you have stuff to fill the void of porn with), then work on talking to women after that and hopefully you'll have enough social energy that it won't be as difficult work just gathering the motivation anymore. That's what my strategy would be in a nutshell... but like I said I've been exactly where you are so I know how hard it is.
Chicago. I actually might have some sort of therapist that's working with an organization I am with. I guess I could try that out. It might help me out, along with CBD if I can get it. I feel like I might have to take a risk and move though..I am really unhappy here. My friends don't seem to understand depression or my inability to want to try hooking up with chicks. It's getting very annoying.
