My tip is weird and abstract but works for me: let your balls in the control of your decisions.

I don't think there's a magic pill for people high in neuroticism to just "stop thinking." When somebody tells me that I'm overthinking something and that I should stop, my reaction is "wow thanks, I'm cured."
Rather than trying not to think so much, maybe it works better for people like us to just acknowledge we're overthinking, and accept that our thinking is just giving us the illusion that it's leading us to a more accurate and rational conclusion, when we haven't got enough evidence for any extra amount of thinking to illuminate anything further.
After that, just decide "regardless of what the reality is, I'm going to take act as if X is the case. If it isn't, oh well, too bad, at least I acted." Accept that some things are out of your hands and no amount of thinking is going to help you pick the "correct" strategy, so just toss a coin and pick a strategy, knowing full well it could be the incorrect one.
For example, maybe you're overthinking, because you don't know if you're showing too much or too little intent, and don't know how to proceed. You think that more thinking and analysing of the situation and her behaviour will enlighten the situation and inform you of which course of action to take. Except you cannot read minds and lack sufficient behavioural data for any more thinking to tell you what the correct action is, so just maybe go with "I'm going to show more intent," and see where that takes you.
