Went to a bar with my buddy (haven't seen him for a while, wanted to catch up).

Noticed two girls sitting in another corner (it's rare because usually people go on dates there, or those are larger groups). One was my type, another one not so much.

Went to bathroom and approached them on my way back. Didn't want to overthink it and not do the approach at all, so it went like this:

"Hi! Sorry for being so random, you're pretty and I wanted to say hi." (looking at both of them, but later referring to that one girl)

She looked awkward and her friend was smiling-laughing which was nice and expected. After a few seconds I introduced myself and shook her hand. They didn't start the conversation so I said:

"I don't want to bother you and I'm with my friend, so I have to go join him, but if you'd like to meet another time - we can exchange facebooks"

"No, thank you"

I smiled and said:

"Have a great evening"

Wasn't terrible and she probably wouldn't be interested anyway. But still, any tips on how this could go a bit better?
