Quick story: Gf of 6 months. Very caring person, sweet, totally like her! About me: I'm quite a bold person and I do say stuff with no shame if it's true without hurting the feelings too much. I'm also a big fan of feedback and communication.
The problem: Since last weekend she is saying that I push her too much during communication. That I'm changing her and she's adapting (I'm wearing the pants) but I would never adapt to her when she complains ("I'm too bold", 'you're emotionless' in statements).
My head says, after all the theory, to not give in to her and stay yourself: If you've got to be the asshole to her, be it. But I don't like the fact that she cries because that's my weak spot.
Really looking forward to answers. I don't want to screw this up so any advice is good.
