Open up a microsoft word and title it thoughts.

Write your thoughts and feelings about it till you get past the writers block and you are in the zone were it all flows. You want to go after what hurts or is causing you those feeling the most.

It may take a couple of sessions (maybe months) to get down to the real cause but once you get it you will feel if its the right one. It will be like a jab in the heart when you think of it causing that emotional response.

Once you know what it is you analyse it and plan how to solve it either by working on solving the problem or what can sometimes be even harder accepting it: you understand nothing can be done about it and you have to learn to live with it kinda like finding out some one close died or you went deaf. Check out 6 pillars of self esteem on youtube that audio book has a great chapter on acceptance and is phenomenal in general.
