As a dancer I dance with a lot of different women, and I'll often try new moves or try to come up with my own. I usually end up asking the woman I'm dancing with if what I'm doing feels right, or if it's even a move, or how I should do a certain move. Here's what I've learned:

-They usually(with a few exceptions) don't know what I should do since they usually don't lead. So any questions about how I should do a certain move, or what I should do to improve something are usually useless. It's much better to ask another guy these questions, but even then guys usually don't know how to follow so they might be able to tell me how I should do something, but it's a lot harder for them to tell me if what I'm doing feels right as I'm not dancing with them.

-Women are usually able to tell me if something feels good or bad. This is valuable information. Like I said before guys (unless they know how to follow) won't be able to tell you very accurately whether what you're doing feels right.

How this relates to seduction: I see people here repeat the vague aphorism that "you don't ask the fish how to catch it" without any justification. I think a lot can be learned about social interactions through dance. Basically women usually can't give you good seduction advice cause they don't seduce other women (unless they're lesbian, but even then as far as i can tell the dynamics in gay/lesbian seduction generally are different). But whether girls like you or think you are charismatic or whatever. Thats important information. And its not information that youre generally gonna get from other guys.
