So I went to the shelter downtown with some of my classmates for service hours. It was a ton of fun. I saw a cute girl from another high school who was working with us. She was just standing there, so I went to press down. I said Hello and started a conversation about school. It ended and eventually I went to her again and started another conversation. After the second time people noticed and started fucking with me a bit and for some reason it made me such a wreck lol. I had no confidence to talk to her anymore. People were encouraging me in a playful way and eventually I talked to her again but it was hella awkward. It got to an awkward pause and then I said “it was nice talking to you” and left it at that. I just messed it up and people were kind of messing with me about it again. On the bus ride back to school they could tell I was a bit upset. I really need help with closing the deal. What do I say? I had no idea what to say and it got awkward and I ended it. But thinking about it now, I’m at least happy I attempted to talk to a girl.
