Move on, she already rejected you. You two have different dating goals.

But I don't know if we necessarily have different goals, I just think I lowered myself a bit by trying to rush things and came across as needy. I'd like to get one more shot.
She was taking things slow in the beginning and hinted she wanted to take things slow, I don't think she'd do that if she was just looking for something casual

Dude, she flat out rejected you when she said ljbf. Move on.

At this point you already did yourself in, nothing you say or do now can change the opinion she has of you. Women like mystery and intrigue which is why they’ll put up with stuff at first because they still don’t really know you yet. Best option is to leave it alone for a few weeks and maybe she’ll hit you up but probably not and that’s ok too. Just learn from it for next time and remember not to put all your cards on the table and be overly vulnerable with a girl too soon.

Yeah I know I fucked up bad, but don't you think leaving it alone for about 2-4 weeks then hit her up with a casual invite to grab a drink or whatever and then start from scratch could work?
Another thing: Could she have been hinting FWB, because when we left for our last date (last time we talked before LJBF) she started talking about sex and how she liked it

It can work but keep in mind it’s more likely to not work then work. You should only do it if you’re truly outcome independent of her answer. If you’re going to wait a few weeks then hit her up and it doesn’t go well and it makes you sad/upset all you’re really doing is prolonging feeling like shit. I do feel for you bro, I did the exact same thing with a great girl a few months ago, it sucks

Yeah feeling like shit is a really accurate description of my state right now. I know one itis and bla bla but all that aside, this girl was just cool and so my type its insane. We were so much alike. It's a lesson for sure but probably the most painful one I'll ever go through. I didn't experience grief like this even when I got dumped by my GF of 3 years. This just stings so bad and mainly because I know that this is all my fault. How do you get over that? Knowing that you missed out on something great because you couldn't control yourself?
My friends tell me to stop beating myself up and that I didn't do anything wrong, and while I know that beating myself up won't help anything, I really did do something wrong and so this is my fault and that's the most painful part of it
