So are the girls on online dating sites generally of lower quality? Less attractive, less confident, less successful, etc? Why else would they be on there?

Actually, that is more likely to be true of men.

Sure, women like their validation, but it's not like they get tired of it. Not to mention, validation by tinder and social media are amplified.

Take girl A, let's say she's an 8, in your opinion. She goes out to a bar and guys hit on her. Yay!! A few creep her out, and a few of her friends get to watch the whole thing.

She also has a tinder account, where everyone she comes across is blatantly trying to fuck her. That's fairly private, but she can show it to her friends. She has a facebook account, where she posts a new photo now and then. "looking good girl, woohoo," etc. Everyone she knows sees that validation, which is way, way better. She doesn;t have to show anyone. Everyone can see it anyway.

When I go into a popular bar in a nice section of manhattan, there's usually plenty of gorgeous women, with confidence, academic degrees, jobs, etc. Seemingly high-value targets with zero time for betas.

Zero time for betas - because there's only one of her, and who is she going to spend her attention on?

With tinder and social media, time and place are no longer constraints. Along with that, there is zero danger. One of the reasons women don't like cat-calls is because they feel threatened and worry about mob behavior whether real or only perceived threats. On the internet, they can soak it all up without any risk at all.

Ask yourself this... if the two 8s in this scenario are identical twins and they both love validation, who's doing it better?

They aren't LTR material. If that makes them lower quality human beings then so be it.

Depends on where you live. It's just another honey pot as I see it. Some people don't have time to go out, so they use the internet. Some don't like clubs or bars, so they use the internet.

From experience, it's better to go hunting than to get it delivered.

You're wrong. ALL WOMEN ARE ON TINDER. I have banged multiple ivy league grads, girls in med school, you name it. The app is popular enough that it might as well be a cross section of the total female population.

What I suspect is that you are just not matching with the higher quality set so they are de facto invisible to you.

One time a girl that rejected me online approached me in a bar and I rejected her because she wasn't very attractive.

Go out to bars and meet girls in person; you will always find better looking/quality ones that way.
