This is the thing the RSD asshats do not tell you about. They get into altercations and kicked out of clubs all the time.

You have to think of an altercation as a crossroads in your life. A split in the trail where your life can change drastically.

People die in street fights all the time

It doesn't matter if you are billy badass, you're going to have a bad time 5v1 outside the club. And whenever you get knocked unconscious and your skull bounces off the concrete that is permanent brain damage...and if you manage to do the same to someone else you can face serious legal charges, assault, battery, involuntary manslaughter.

Swallow your pride and walk. I can ramble off 10+ guys I know who have gotten seriously hurt in bar fights or have criminal records from bar fights. Factor in alcohol and peacocking in front of women and it's just a bad time.

Also, just a friendly reminder that bouncers and police are always right and you will never change their mind about what they did and did not see. Do not argue. LEAVE. LEAVE. LEAVE. I can't stress this enough.

I'm guilty of getting heated with another man and wanting to "Take it outside" and then I realize what can actually happen. (Death or prison for either parties) and I just leave. It's not worth it.

So you got AMOG aka cockblocked by an alpha of the group.

There are 2 types of AMOG. 1. Men/women who are alpha and are looking for a fight. 2. Beta cockblockers who try passive aggressive things like when you set the date, she will say "O you can't do that date your busy remember".

I prefer male AMOGs because you can usually buy them off with drinks and shot/bro them.

The thing with (especially male) AMOGs who are aggressive and looking for a fight is that they WIN by playing up an aggressive frame. They usually only do this to a smaller guy or a guy they think they can take physically.

You win by NOT giving in to it. Do not fight them or get aggressive, you befriend and humour them and assuage their ego. In fact many of the ones who are most aggressive and looking for a fight at first, are the ones who will feel embarrassed they were trying to fight you if they can win you over.

When he said "What's it too ya buddy..." I would have said congratulations, I thought it might be your anniversary so I was going to buy you a shot later.

Now if he keeps pushing aggressively, it makes him look bad to his own girls.

You handle AMOGs by gaming the whole group, you cannot just game the girls you want because the friends will cockblock you, you have to game the girls and the guys especially the AMOGs to make them think you are actually trying to be friends with them.

This is an excellent question and scenario you should ask in the r/martialarts reddit. I was in a similar situation once and got some good advice there.

Any case, your first priority should be to try and avoid a fight. You reacted properly. There will always be goofs like this, and their aggressive/paranoid behavior is likely exacerbated by the alcohol and or drugs in such environments.

I’ve done grappling for years and walking away is by far the best thing you could have done. I know how tough that is because I’ve definitely let my ego get the best of me when I have been drinking. It’s never worth it.

you did good in avoiding the fight, but a lot of times girls have friends they keep around (betas) to do things like protect them buy them stuff do boyfriend like things all in the promise of sex but the sex never happens for them. he could just be one of them no matter how big he may seem. at the end of the day hes just her tool she uses

if you are truly interested in this woman you should get her Instagram right away or have her find you. this is after than just taking her number because it come off as friendly, and you did nothing wrong with asking always call the bluff.

but if they really are dating then you should back off and respect their relationship.
