I [23/M] went for a first date with a girl [24/F] a few weeks back, it wasn’t the best of first dates on my part cause I was stressed about other things. I messaged her a few days after the date saying I had a nice time and that I would like to do it again, but understood if she wasn’t interested in going out again. She said she was interested, and when I said I was busy for the next few weeks with work she said just to let her know when I was free.

I contacted her at the start of the week and chatted for a while and then asked her if Friday suited to go out again. She said she was working and I said that’s fine, maybe another time, thinking that was her way of saying she wasn’t interested. She then replied that she might be able to do Saturday if that suits me but would let me know when she finds out if she definitely can. She hasn’t bothered to let me know if she can or can’t do Saturday night. Should I just accept that she’s not interested in another date or try again in the future?

Tl;dr Girl suggests another night for a date since she’s working on suggested night. Says she’ll let me know if she can definitely do the night she suggested when she finds out if she’s free; doesn’t let me know.
