So I think this emotion or thought of being with a certain type of category of girls only when you are good enough in a certain way(s) or other is not too uncommon. Even if itsn't I wanted to share my thoughts on this to speak out to the few or many that might resonate with it.
This is going to be a bit long so bear with me:
I started as a tall thin teenager who thought he wasn't good looking enough, not intelligent enough, not street smart enough and the family didn't have extra income to boost my ego through other means.
But then I got into an Ivy league equivalent college in India. However, college was one big push down as everybody seemed to have already achieved a lot in school and what not. I had a relationship at the time but soon it wasn't there anymore and I had a bad 2 year patch with no girls because college had a fucked up gender ratio so no access to girls (and of course no idea about game).
Anyway, dry patch ended I got into a job, a live in relationship with an amazing girl. The start of this was a bit rocky, with her ghosting me during which I felt powerless and reduced to a corporate slave and decided that I should be doing a startup or project of some kind which wasn't work (qualifying behaviour on my part). She came back but not for any of these reasons as she wasn't even aware.
Over the next five years I started multiple companies, learned how to code and sold my startup last year. During all this while I dated or had relationships with a bunch of girls (~10 or so).
Through this process I had eliminated a bunch of my concerns:
I was now considered intelligent, objectively by investors, by people from top silicon valley firms and what not.
I had turned street smart, I found any system/person/situation 'hackable/negotiable'. Approach and relating to people matters so much more than what you might be offering in actual value.
I was (and still am to some extent) bothered about not looking good enough.
Overall my personality has always been somebody who read, consumed culture, traveled and tried new things such as Jijutsu and what not.
So everything is going great but the dream train to be 'good enough' hit a snag when an extremely low valued girl broke up with me for another guy (and I have always been great with open relationships) in the most brutal fashion possible. I was told "You are overqualified for me". Roughly blocked out of her life.
I went insane, insane, insane. How can she walk away from all that I have to offer. I accommodated (yes yes I know this was a big mistake) every single thing. And that's what brought me to my conclusion:
NOTHING OBJECTIVE (OR FACTUAL) ABOUT YOU MATTERS
It was disorienting for someone who saw himself on a path of 'getting there'. Completely thrown off. I could do something or I can do nothing to improve myself further but it doesn't really matter.
I was desperately looking for help and that bought me to the game philosophy. I won't write too much about how it resolved my conflicts or why I should improve myself still unless somebody wants to hear about it.
This is mostly going out to skeptics/newbies who are new to this, who are suspicious about how will you move past not being a certain way. Imagine you are that person right now (say the person has 3 million USD in the bank or being muscular or 6 feet tall, you have that right now). Does that change anything about you? Will you still be able to talk to a girl who you are crazy for? Will you suddenly have access to those girls?
The answer is no IMO. Not unless you make it happen.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
