I am from India been studying pickup/seduction for some time now. Have had dating experience in the past as well with a range of different kinds of relationships.

The reason I am saying people and not girls is because I have stories from both sides, about people being irresponsible. My sources include my exes, close female friends and even my sister for the guys. For girls my own experiences suffice.

First up, if you are read the following and think it is some problem with me please do let me know. There is nothing better for me than to know how I am fucking up and fixing the same.

I understand general flakiness, but there is this increasing behaviour where the girl would say grandiose things/lead me on in a way and then just start acting cold. In the recent case that happened with me the possible trigger was when I asked for a date night (not a relationship but just a date night) after she said something to the tune of falling for me.

I feel this is very different from 4-5 years ago. Possibly pre tinder when it was somewhat difficult to find people. At this point everybody is trivialized it seems.

Is it just me or are there others who have felt this trend shift?

How do you cope for this?

Having multiple options open requires time and investment (online or offline) and if something seems like it would work out it becomes even more difficult to keep 'looking' (or at least I am mentally fatigued about finding new people again and again)

In the end with this girl, I know she is in the wrong and lacks integrity. But I am also feeling a bit hopeless about this changing.
