Or a hundred times worse when they write "Ask to find out". The empty profiles I'll make an attempt to communicate with (in the off chance I ever do get a match) but I have no hopes for any profile telling viewers to ask as a summary or fill in for questions.

My theory is that they lack any unique traits and are kinda boring, they realize this so they use that as a substitute to appear mysterious to viewers. Am I on the right track? Are the profiles telling you to ask a wash?

But more importantly how do I converse with the people with nothing in their profiles?
