If you want to quit being the loser who's jerking off alone as you described, you have to quit jerking off. That's easily the biggest piece of advice so many of you bitter guys need to understand. Every time you jerk off you are tricking your mind and body into thinking you're actually out there succeeding. It's a trap.

its interesting you post this, cause honestly its almost like a personal attack for me lol (in the im in the same fucking situation). But also im older(28), I do look college age so its not so weird on first impression. That said by the extra 7 years I have my experience has been like this. the human condition will lead you to feel worthless over whatever it is you dont have at the time. Sex, money, friends, looks, intelligence, things you actually could own, etc. Youre going to end up to a degree in the same hole. And honestly the issue is not the despair being in that position makes, but what you can do about it.

Myself I was living in a trailer in someones backyard, eating crap food and watching my health fade away (I was un unbearable pain). working 6 days a week doing hard labor (and not just physically hard), and not seeing how I could get out of the situation. Like my only way out seemed to truly be suicide. One good thing happened and I no longer had the major issue causing me that physical pain, all I had left was mental pain. So I decided to work on myself and not on other peoples things for once. Just finished my AA and transferred into my dream college. Next step is post back to add some letters to my name. Whos to say I cant make that same change to my dating life? I had given up on it multiple times and always the same thing happened. As soon as I was finally mentally clear, id have someone seem interested in me. Give me hope that maybe I exaggerated everything and missed out. Then right when I bit the hook id be left hanging.

youre not wrong about a couple of things there. For example hooking up in college with those dream girls is about being a dream guy. And yea it takes more to be that guy, but its not impossible. Thats my goal this summer break, socialize better, broaden my social circle and know that were ever I go ill have people I know, and the one that I actually dont want to do start working out (6'1 and 125lb is a bit of a hindrance no matter how good my face is).

so thats my challenge to you OP and every other person in college thinking those same thoughts. you have 3 months to a new start, make them count.
