What do you think of the book Art of Seduction by Robert Greene

I wasn't into it. It was an oddly analytical and classical look at techniques that are, by their nature, subjective and manipulative. The presentation was creepy.

Anyone in Seduction/Game has to admit that they're learning manipulative tactics, but the nature of manipulation can go in two directions.

To me the ultimate manipulation mindset is not in "tricking victims to get with you." Instead, it is "making free-thinking females feel safe and empowered to get with you." Greene's book treats seduction like it is a sneaky trick. You should treat it as empowerment.

Read Robert Greene with the knowledge that he is a very pessimistic dude. He isn’t condoning the behavior he lists, he’s just making the point that people that succeed in seduction often follow the rules he prescribes.

He looks at seduction from a very academic sense and i don’t think it is really practical for your average guy living at this current moment. Be that as it may, he does provide great insight into some of the ways people manipulate other people. Don’t read to act on what he describes, read to understand how what he describes works and how you can utilize it for pro social purposes.

Greene’s stuff is far more academic than what most people are looking for. I loved it personally as I’m a history nerd but no... it did not help my game one ounce.
