I really do not get the concept of abundance mentality. At least if you are looking for something more than just a hole to stick your dick in. If that is the case I would agree that there is an abundance of pussy. At least an abundance of opportunities. But if you are looking for someone to establish a meaningful emotional connect with I do not agree at all there is an abundance. I find myself talking to many girls and also rejecting most of them. Simply because I want something more than a pussy. And when I find a girl I really like after having rejected a handful of women why would I not try to hold on to that? Because there are so and so many other girls on the planet? So what.. That does not translate to girls I have a connection with. I think this abundance mentality seriously reduces the integrity of a relationship. If a girl I really connect with steps out on me I should not care because there are so and so many other girls on the planet? I can not see how this kind of thinking helps when trying to establish an honest meaningful connection with someone. I do not take the first and best that is thrown at me or else I would never have rejected a girl. So I do not consider myself needy either. I just become genuinely happy when I meet someone I really connect with and they are not necessary at every fucking corner as people would like to have you believe. Relationships can be hard work at times and it is never gonna work if you always have this mentality of «there is more fish in the sea». It seems totally unappreciative, pretentious and counter-intuitive as to what I want to achieve. It also rubs me the wrong way if I should look at my girlfriend and go "she is nothing special - there are millions more out there". Would be helpful if someone could clear this up for me.

Cheers
