One of the primary principles I’ve learned in pickup is that there’s no perfect method and every woman is different,

BUT with that being said, I would absolutely keep texting and small talk before the first date to a MINIMUM. If you want to convey that you’re an important, BUSY, and mysterious, then don’t communicate much at all leading up to the date.

If you have to wait a week, maybe a quick check in or a funny comment can work, as well as re-affirming the plans the night before. “Hey, week’s been crazy, but looking forward to meeting up tomorrow” is a great line in this context.

It’s before date 1 so there’s no reason to be that invested in her anyways. So just ride it out until the day comes and show up with your A game.

You don’t. Leave texting for making plans.

You haven’t even been on a first date... yet you will be communicating that you’ve already overly invested her... and thusly are needy/desperate.

You wont make her like you more through texting. You CAN make her like you less.

Continue to communicate. The purpose of the date is to get to know each other. Why stop the process just because you have plans to do it in person.
