if you were hoping to get a date or get in her pants, you should probably stay away. but if friendship is all you wanted from this girl, you don’t have to cut contact with her just because she has a boyfriend.

What is right and what is wrong? There are some things that are consensually right or wrong, like murder, violence, theft and so on, but I cannot remember that it was a right for anyone to be another persons friend, and if it felt right for you to not go through constant pain of knowing that she will never be something more than a friend, or if you just weren't interested in her as a friend, it was right for you, and this is what matters. She would have done the same thing if you came out to her telling her you want more or even worse, went the niceguy router of telling her out of the blue that you loved her.
