I recently wrote up my impressions of the girls that I've met at a couple of recent parties I've attended. My personal impression is that the quality of girls is just barely at the point to warrant coming back to more events. But just barely.

During the most recent party, I had 7 or 8 women approach me. I was polite to all of them, at least saying hi and smiling to all of them. I didn't feel particularly inclined to have a prolonged conversation with more than 3 of them however and I was only strongly attracted to 1 of them. All of them were attractive to some degree, but not to the point where I felt strongly about them.

OTOH, just about every girl who was approached by a guy was friendly and allowed the guy to chat them up for some extended period of time, sometimes indefinitely, so in comparison, I was a lot less friendly to girls approaching me than the girls were to guys who approached them.

Women are notoriously selective, however, in comparison I was far more selective than any of the women in attendance, which unnerves me a little bit. This is because I didn't feel as if I was excessively picky, but I had a tough time justifying a long conversation with someone I didn't feel a strong attraction to. Am I being too picky or am I justified in only talking to girls I feel strongly attracted to?
