Women, in my experience, are more attracted to men who take themselves seriously. Creating a mysterious, intimidating persona is part of being a man that women chase, rather than a man that chases women. There's always a time to joke and cut up, but RBF is a crucial part of how I conduct myself in front of women to show that I'm removed from them and worth taking seriously.

Some time ago I read a study where they found out men rated women as more attractive when they were smiling, but suprisingly women rated men as more attractive when they looked slightly irritated (RBF). I think you're good.
