On dating apps, I just got depressed and deleted them. I'd get matches, lots of them, but my text game was just too off now because I couldn't get many dates anymore at all. I want to go out on weekends when I can with some friends, but even when I'm drunk I'm scared to approach. Rejection doesn't scare me at all, it's simply not being able to hold a good conversation. I have anxiety, so I don't want to put myself in a awkward situation. Rejection, yes, it'll happen, but being awkward and uncomfortable is avoidable. Is there a way you guys learned to combat this? I talk to people at work daily, but small talk bores me. When dating, or even with clients, how do you become someone with more substance, that leaves an impression while still being himself and not making a fool of oneself?
