Alright, so I’m about to go into my senior year at college and last year I had a bunch of classes with this really cute girl. We are both straight-A students so we ended up studying together a lot. Frankly, I didn’t even think about her as more than a friend until the end of last semester, but now we will have another class together and I’m not sure if (after a year in which neither of us dated anyone) if I’m just stuck in the friend zone. I tried hanging out with her over the summer but we have both been traveling and couldn’t meet up.

We’ve talked about other crushes/interests, school, our families, and I know she’s talked about me to her parents and stepparents. Our conversations are always great but every time I try to flirt/compliment her it just seems to die. But then she’ll specifically invite me over to sit with her anytime she sees me…

I really just can’t figure her out. What do y’all think?
