After thinking I wouldn't be into this girl, friend of a friend (27f), turns out I like her personality and she's hot af. We had met once before a bday thing so I asked her to go hiking with our mutual friends and I (4 of us). She rode with me so we had some alone time to connect. Everything went well I thought. She had just gotten out of a relationship maybe 2 months ago now. When I dropped her off I asked her if she'd like to come over for dinner some time. She said "sure... But I'm not looking to date really, I'm still figuring out my shit". I idiocally tried to recover and said well I think we have a lot of similar interests and would be cool to keep hanging out. Fast forward a few days, I'm telling a co-worker who is into game and seduction stuff. He called me idiot and told me about everything I did wrong all day. It opened my eyes. I hadn't realized how bad I really was at this. So he helped me write her a text in a way I wouldn't typically speak, especially barely knowing her. I felt it was a bit too forward and cringy. He was convinced it would work but I thought there's no way in hell. He told me, well you already screwed it up bad enough and got pretty much friend zoned, you might as well try big or give up. I didn't want to but ended up using the text he wrote up. I was expecting straight rejection. To my surprised, it worked, she seemed interested. I was speechless.

The text: "You need some reggaeton, and lucky for you, I am in the mood. Let's hit ______ Bar tomorrow night for dancing at 9:00. Dress cute."

Response: "Damnnnnn I already made plans for tomorrow evening. But I like your boldness. Are you free next weekend?"

After that I decided I need to learn this shit. Now I'm here, trying to learn, trying to improve myself, trying to not be the nice beta guy I've been for years. I need your help...I just finished reading The Game. I'm looking for some of the best books or videos out there to learn.
