I recently started doing day game and then stopped. I have got off all dating apps as well now.

I didn't do a lot of day game, like 10-15 sets and figured I don't care about rejection at all. I do have an initial approach anxiety but that washes away after I manage to initiate. I am able to persist and hold myself together (at least from my own perspective).

I even got an insta close from the recent day game.

My history is that I have been with girls before either through IRL or online but never direct game. I used to enjoy the process of meeting somebody new, of discovering more about them. At one point I was on OKC (2013-2014), talking to like 10-14 girls and genuinely enjoying the conversations.

At this point I have stopped enjoying the conversations as much, everything seems same old same old. I might have mild depression as well but I haven't been to a therapist yet.

However there is one strong thing I feel, if I start enjoying conversations again it would change things for me. So I decided to take a break of sorts. I totally understand that the burden of making the conversation fun is on me and not on the girl.

What are some very practical things I can do to find my spot again? I have seen a lot of standup, I do read (though not a lot these days) and do watch debates, podcasts on YouTube.

But still consuming is passive, I am looking for something which forces me to come up with things.

Is improv or theatre a good idea?

FYI: the feeling of same old same old is with almost everything I experience.
